Baptisms in Fire -- A Teaching on the Waves of the Ruach from a Messianic Perspective


Yah has critically laid on my heart the need to get this teaching published.

 

The Torah, Prophets and Brit Chadasah all talk about not just one immersion in the Ruach ha Kadosh, but successive immersions that drive us deeper and deeper into Yah!  Remember  the vision of Ezekiel, pressing deeper into the river -- at his ankles, then knees, then arms, then the river swallows him entirely!

 

This was first established in Torah, where several different kinds of mkvahs (water immersions), are established for cleanliness.  Please see Leviticus and Numbers concerning commandments for the the leper, etc.

 

While some wrongly believe the immersions of fire (Ruach ha Kadosh) are limited only to the reNEWed Covenant, they would be wrong.

 

Even King Saul, one who eventually became apostate, is shown clearly in I Samuel to have been immersed by this fire, speaking in tongues and prophecying.

 

King David, who penned many of the Psalms, endured one tribulation after another that caused the Ruach to blaze brighter and brighter in his life!  (see Psalm 119).

 

I simply want to put forth my short personal experience.  8 days ago, in the early morning hours of the 1st day of the week, Yahweh shook me from my bed, commanding me to expose 14 hypocrites who are major leaders in the Messianic and Hebrew Roots movement.  Due to my obedience in doing this, though it caused many to disassociate with my ministry, even long time ministry supporters, Yah decided to increase His immersion of Fire upon me.

 

Over the past week, the Fire of Yah has steadily been increasing, swallowing up my life and ministry as NEVER before.  I hear Yah in ways I have never heard Him before.  Not just in contending for the faith on facebook either.  It is happening at the gym, when I go run errands, as I take care of ministry responsibilities with Torah Restoration Ministries.  His Spirit blazes like FRESH FIRE in my mind, my heart, my soul, the very core of my being.

 

But then Yah posed this question to me -- SHOULD NOT THIS BE THE NORMAL STATE OF EVERY BELIEVER?

 

The time of His sealing upon His servants as detailed in Revelation is drawing near.

 

Are you pressing in?  

 

Are you seeking that fresh fire and immersion from the Ruach?

 

Are you willing to obey Him, no matter what He requires of you, even if it means close friends and family abandon you?

 

How far are YOU willing to go with Yah?
