And to the angel of the congregation in Philadelphia write -- These things says He that is holy, He that is true, He that has the Key of David, He that opens, and no man shuts, and shuts, and no man opens.  I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept My Word, and have not denied My Name . . ."

Righteous Hatred

Dear Saints,

Joyous Greetings in the Matchless Love of YahShua!

The following is a study on Hatred vs Love from an Hebraic Perspective as opposed to our Western Gentile English mindset of thinking. This study is not intended to be exhaustive, but to lead you into all Truth as Yah places on your heart to study this topic out:

1. Psalm 5:5 - The foolish shall not stand in Your sight, You hatest ALL workers of iniquity (those who stand against the Torah of Moshe).

2. Psalm 139:21-22 - Do not I hate them, O YHVH, that hate you? And am not I grieved with those that rise up against You? I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them my enemies.

3. Romans 10:9 Let love be without dissimulation, Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.

There is a type of "love WITH DISSIMULATION" that prevails in the jezebel controlled Messianic movement, Christians and American culture in general. This "false or dissimulative love" is one that says hating people is wrong.

Now, hear me out. You may instantly REJECT what I am saying by thinking, "But Daniel, YahShua PLAINLY says for us to LOVE our enemies! To do good to them who do evil to us! Yah says he LOVES!"

Yes, indeed, but you cannot define this love as the western-Gentile english people do, and the dissimulative "false" love that so many cling to.

Hereby we know what LOVE is -- that we KEEP His commandments.

Righteous HATRED of individuals and people is an attribute of TRUE HEBRAIC Love.

We are not talking about a Stalin or a Hitler hatred. A hatred rooted in selfishness.

We are talking about a zealousness for Yah's Torah to the extent, that we MUST BURN WITH HATRED toward ALL who would willfully reject and oppose Maschiach's BEAUTIFUL Instructions. Indeed, we hate them with such intensity, knowing that these people are at war with the Awesome Creator, that we will manifest this hatred toward them through Holy Spirit controlled words, that they might fear Yah, humble themselves and repent.

This righteous hatred was not only displayed by King David, but also by Messiah YahShua Himself in Matthew 23, and in the two accounts of Him driving out the money changes from the Temple with a whip.

In my personal life, this righteous hatred is directed at religious hypocrites who should know better, in addition to being used on campus to cut through a spirit of pride in the crowd, if the Ruach leads.

Righteous hatred is so disgusted with the breaking of Torah, it cannot help but identify and reject those who are in willful rebellion to the Creator. It is an utter abhorance to the righteous when men and women apathetically transgress the Torah.

This righteous hatred is actually an ATTRIBUTE of true LOVE. To "love" our enemies can mean to display righteous hatred, even as David wrote about under the inspiration of the Ruach ha Kadosh in Psalm 139.

To "do good" to our enemies and to "bless" our enemies, may in fact be to display this attribute of true love if Yah leads.

Keep in mind, we are NOT talking about the wicked and evil zealots of America who justify murdering baby butchers in abortion mills. There is a whole group of wicked religious hypocrites who do not have the Ruach ha Kadosh and thus misapply the doctrine of righteous hatred completely.

When righteous hatred is displayed, IT IS ALWAYS A DIRECTING AND LEADING FROM THE RUACH, STRAIGHT FROM THE THRONE ROOM OF YAH.

In our western, Gentile, english world we think of love and hate as opposites.

In the Hebraic mindset: Righteous hatred is an attribute, a quality of true Biblical Love.

There is a evil hatred discussed in the scriptures. That is beyond the scope of this study for now.

In Messiah and by His Torah,

Daniel J. Lee
