As I was reading and meditating on Yochanan chapter 6 this morning, I began to realize how the Hebrews committed the SAME transgression TWICE.

In the Tanakh, Yisrael rejected the Bread of Life -- the Torah that came down from YHVH through Moshe, and lusted after the physical manna and physical meat.

In the gospels, Yisrael again rejected the Bread of Life -- the Torah, even YahShua the Messiah, and demanded a PHYSICAL SIGN.

The Talmudic Jewish thought patterns got so WRAPPED UP IN THE PHYSICAL, they could not understand the spiritual dimension.

In reaction to the Tamludic Jewish thought, the Platonic/Aristotelian/Greek thought totally disdained physical things AND GOT WRAPPED UP IN THE SPIRITUAL, or "spiritual" so called.

Both mindsets ARE WRONG.

From Genesis and the 6 days of creation, we see that the spiritual and physical are tied together and cannot be separated.  Our own physical bodies, while we live on earth, are inseparable from our soul/spirit.

Let us not, like the Talmudists, reject the spiritual meat of Yah as we lust for physical objects.

Let us not, like the Greco-Roman christians, reject the physical commandments of keeping Torah while thinking we can do only a "spiritual" obediance to Yah.

In short, let us not separate the Torah from the Torah-Clothed-In-Flesh -- YahShua -- the Holy One of Yisrael.
