Easter Challenge


Here is my official Easter Challenge for the year to those of you who will celebrate Easter.

Messiah said He would be buried for 3 days and 3 nights before He resurrected.

How do you count 3 days and 3 nights between Good Friday and Easter Sunday?

Did you know their is historical proof that Polycarp, the disciple of Apostle John, disputed with the Bishop of Rome in the 2nd century over Easter vs Passover? Polycarp insisted we keep Passover (as Apostle John taught him) while the bishop in Rome was beginning to adopt the Roman pagan tradition of easter sunday from sun-god worship to appeal to the pagans (sort of a 2nd century "church growth" scheme!)

Do you know where in pagan and mythological history one can find the origins of Good Friday and Ishtar Sunday, plus 40 days of Lent/weeping leading up to ishtar sunday? This can also be found as an abomination in the Bible in the major prophets.

These are challenges I give to anyone who keeps istar sunday rather than Passover and the 7 days of unleavened bread.
