“And YHVH spake unto Moshe, saying, 'Command the children of Yisrael, and say unto them, My offerings, and My bread for My sacrifices made by fire, for a sweet savour unto Me, shall ye observe to offer unto Me in their due season.'
“And thou shalt say unto them, This is the offering made by fire which ye shall offer unto YHVH, two lambs of the first year without spot day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
“The one lamb shalt thou offer in the morning, and the other lamb shalt thou offer at even.”
Numbers 28:1-4
Greetings all in the Matchless Name of YahShua!
For years I have had a devotion time every morning, probably carried over from my Christian upbringing of “beginning the day” with Yah. Of course, back then I had no idea that the “beginning of the day” started hours earlier in the evening.
But recently the Torah began to remind me how oblations were offered every morning and every evening. I spoke to my wife that having a morning devotion time is great, but what if we were to offer up an evening oblation as well?
We have implemented such a Torah-based technique this past week with amazing results.
Until YahShua returns to purge the Temple and restore the Levitical Priesthood, all we can do is offer “spiritual sacrifices” of praise per the ReNEWed Covenant.
“Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to Yah by YahShua ha Maschiah.”
I Peter 2:5
By offering praises to Yah night by night, coupled with the morning devotion, walls of protection have deflected the devils, protecting our marriage and children like never before. New songs have bubbled forth from Annika as I have never seen. His music has filled us with joy throughout the week, strengthening us in every aspect of our lives.
Torah is truly the BEST way to go -- far from being a burden, it brings us more and more freedom to please our Precious YahShua. And growing in Torah is the only way to please Him!
