As was done with Christmas and Easter, so too was Halloween incorporated into the church by “christianizing” a pagan holiday. The “day of the dead” was stamped by the Catholic Church as All Saints Day and All Saints Eve, and once more we have a golden calf wrapped in the glittering facade of a pagan Jesus.
I’m not going to exhaust the obvious satanic roots of this wicked day, as there are resources in abundance all over the internet. What I do wish to address, however, are the modern day lukewarm evils masquerading in costumes of religious garb.
So a family wants to find an alternative to trick or treating and what do they do? They take little Suzy or little Johnny to the local “harvest festival” at the nearby Bible church, where on October 31st they dress up, dunk for apples, play games, walk cake walks, and have a merry old time.
What an ABOMINATION!!!
How much longer will the Spirit of Yah tolerate so called followers of Messiah to join with this devilish day by covering it in a veneer of “family fun”? If you MUST do something to mark the night of 10/31, then FAST and WEEP and CRY OUT to Yah for Him to scatter the wicked. Your children can stand at the door with you, and instead of passing out candy, pass out scripture verses to anyone who comes to your door. Have Yah-centered music blasting, so those who come “trick or treating” will hear the truth.
Trying to stamp this wicked day with a fun “churchy” alternative makes Yah sick. How many more frivolities, games and distractions must you revel in, church of America and Canada? When will your sin be enough?
As Leonard Ravenhill once said, “The church is supposed to do what? To stop corruption? Is the church doing that? No! The world is corrupting the church!”
The true blood-washed gospel of Yahshua is this -- that He died and rose again to give us the freedom to obey His Torah in newness of the Ruach. His Word is better than gold, His commandments instruct us to life. They keep us close to Him. But how far have we drifted from this precious gospel when we want to have games and parties to celebrate a Satanic holiday! What darkness!
As Yahshua once said, “Why do you call me lord, lord and refuse to do the things I tell you?”
Yahshua commands us to have NOTHING to do with heathen holidays. Nothing! If you don’t believe me, try asking 3000 dead Israelites who thought they could dedicate a golden calf to Yahweh. That witness will either convict you unto righteousness or testify against you when your day of judgment has arrived!
