“Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which YHVH YahShua had made. Then the serpent said unto the woman, Yea, hath Yah said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?”
This insidious lie -- questioning Yah’s commandments -- is at the very HEART of modern Christianity. It becomes even more subtle in the Messianic Judaism movement: “Well, sure, you can observe Passover, or wear fringes, or circumcise your children on the 8th day, but you don’t really have to”. It is the SAME spirit of the wicked snake -- Hath Yah really said?
I don’t know exactly what the Anti-Messiah will look like, but it wouldn’t surprise me a bit if he has NO PROBLEM with people keeping shabbat, wearing fringes, etc. but also saying in the same breath - DON’T YOU DARE SAY OTHERS NEED TO KEEP TORAH.
When preaching to the wicked -- the heathen typically respond -- “Well, that Bible is fine for you, but let us choose our own path. Everyone has to find their own way.” The Christians fall into the SAME trap when they say -- “Well, the Torah is all good and fine for you, but we have our own way of pleasing Yah.”
“Hold up my going in Thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.” Psalm 17:5
“Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105
“And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YHVH, to the house of YHVH of Ya’acov, and He will teach us His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Torah, and the word of YHVH from Yerushalyim.”
Isaiah 2:3
The commandments are for ALL people -- those who embrace them will find LIFE, those who reject them will find eternal destruction.
“One Torah shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.” Exodus 12:19
