Long before 1776, in the early 1600’s, the first Puritans and Pilgrims who settled on the shores of what would become the USA, were mightily filled with the Ruach ha Kadosh and were ZEALOUS FOR TORAH! They even believed Yahweh Himself had sent them to make this North American continent a NEW Zion -- indeed a NEW Israel, to magnify the Torah to the nations!
And indeed Yahweh DID just that!
Ever notice how in the word JerUSAlem you can see the word - USA? That is what was INTENDED by Yahweh!!!!!
What many history books will not tell you but which is VERIFIED FACT, is that the early Pilgrims kept the HEBREW FEAST days found in Leviticus 23. Remember the “first thanksgiving”? It happened in LATE October, which is EXACTLY when the 8 day Feast of Sukkot occurs, a feast Yahshua of Nazareth kept and a feast all His followers MUST keep and obey if they expect to model their lives after Him!
The early Pilgrims knew this, and that “first thanksgiving” was not a first for them at all, for they had been keeping Sukkot in October for YEARS prior to coming to America.
The Pilgrims honored and venerated the 7th day shabbat and DESPISED AND REJECTED xmas and easter!
In fact, the in mid 1600’s, it was ILLEGAL to observe xmas because the Puritans and Pilgrims knew what an abomination to Yahshua that orgiastic celebration was! I’m not making these facts up -- this is all in VERIFIED HISTORICAL DOCUMENTS!
Even as late as the American Revolution in the 1770’s, General George Washington REFUSED to keep xmas. In fact, on xmas eve, as the British army got drunk celebrating their pagan feast, Washington was able to win a decisive victory by invading the drunken British and decimating their army. This battle proved to be the KEY turning point of the war that eventually caused the USA to be born!
Washington, unfortunately, had a mixture of darkness and light. As President, while he continued to uphold parts of Torah due to the culture that the early Puritans had stamped upon the soul of this baby nation, he was a secret Mason, involved in occultic and satanic membership and serving a false god!
However, toward the end of his life, Washington REPENTED FULLY of his involvement in the Masonic Lodge, and cast it away from him. This is WHY the ONLY painting that survived from the burning of the White House in the war of 1812, was the one of Washington. Yahweh preserved his painting as a REMINDER to this nation of what he expected -- full repentance and submission to Him!
Though Andrew Jackson, in 1814, decisively drove back the British and was able to rebuild the White House from its ashen remains, and though he proudly displayed Washington’s painting for ALL to see, Jackson and his predecessors failed to see WHY Yahweh had allowed Washington’s painting to survive -- that Yahweh desired this nation to be like Washington in FULLY REPENTING FROM ALL SIN, and living pure and holy, following Yahshua, and also upholding Torah as the early Pilgrims and Puritans had done.
It is due to this LUKE WARMNESS that a GREAT EVIL marked this nation in the 1860’s which will be the subject of the second article in this trilogy.
