In Hebrews 1 we have such a beautiful picture of the relationship between the Father and the Son. We see that the Father appointed the Son (Jesus) to be heir of all things. That Jesus is the brightness of the Father’s glory and the express image of the Father’s person. That the Father made ALL the worlds by Jesus. That Jesus upholds all things by the Word of His Power.
We know from this that Jesus is the perfect, expressed image in bodily form of Who the Father is. We know that, just like the Father, Jesus has no beginning nor end. We know that everything made was made by and for Jesus. Although Jesus submits to the Father, we know that the Father has placed Jesus above every name and power.
Jesus is Yah is human form, and the Father is Yah in Spirit Form. We know that the Holy Spirit, His Holy Spirit flows from the Father and Son and is shed abroad unto us, those who have become adopted children to Yah through the shed blood of the Son.
This is how we see what many call the Trinity. We see Yah working as One, One in Purpose, and yet with 3 distinct roles and purposes. We know that we are made in His Image, which is why we have a body, soul and spirit which act as one, though these three are distinct elements of who we are.
The Trinity is a great mystery difficult to grasp, but I think Hebrews 1 does the best in clarifying this divine mystery.
