Having survived the end of the age as predicted by the heathen false prophets of the human-sacrificing Mayan culture, we still face the “Christianized” finale of the season of Baal – that hideous annual event wherein a singular member of the ancient groves was sacrificed to Tammuz. I am, of course, referencing the Spiritual Sustenance annually derived through imbibing in the Spirit associated with “things offered to idols” (Acts 21:25).
For those who can’t see the forest for the trees, this is yet another assault on the now universal practice of killing a “green tree” (II Kings 16:4), dragging it into your home, and labeling it “Christian.”
Now before the reader’s reactionary programming kicks in, and assumes the eschewing of the pagan practice is just another form of legalism, I’ll quickly point out that it is in the New Testament, where Jesus Christ says to the believers He has a few things against them, that we find the reference to the consumption of things sacrificed to idols, by the priestess of Baal, who has found her way into the churches of the LORD.
“These things saith the Son of God…I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols” (Revelation 2:18, 20).
Jezebel is an anglicized version of Ishabaal, which means woman of Baal, or better, Priestess of Baal. Christians are clearly not expecting the second coming of Jezebel, so it is self evident this New Testament passage must have some Spiritual application.
In a time when many Christians see various allegorical applications of the Spirit of Elijah as an indicator the return of the LORD is near, we note how they universally reject the identical concept when it comes to Elijah’s historic foe, Jezebel. Elijah was, of course, the vessel of God who was the agency of the destruction of the prophets of Baal, and the prophets of the Groves – two religious sects with 501c3 style partiality granted by the government of Ahab and Jezebel:
“The prophets of Baal…and the prophets of the groves…eat at Jezebel’s table” (I Kings 18:19).
Throughout the Scriptures we find the concept of fornication to be a Spiritual thing, in that the body of Christ is to be a chaste bride, prepared for the bridegroom. Furthermore, the concept of Spiritual adultery (fornication in the New Testament) is found all over the Old Testament in dozens and dozens of passages concerning Israel’s whoredoms. Thus, those who teach God’s servants, that under the New Covenant, it is acceptable to consume the Spiritual Sustenance derived from sacrificing “things offered to idols” (Acts 21:25), will be judged with the harshest measures:
“Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them which commit adultery with her into great tribulation…and I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts…” (Revelation 2:22, 23).
Ironically, the heathen world cleverly utilizes phrases such as the “holiday Spirit,” telling us that Christmas time “tis the season” for “peace on Earth” and “goodwill to men” -- in a deceptive entrance of the Spirit of Antichrist into the body of Christ.
Granted that part of the problem is the lack of knowledge that Baal and Tammuz are different ethnic names for the same Satanic entity, the knowledge of the truth has been known for many centuries:
“My people [my servants in Revelation] are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge…I will also forget thy children [kill them with death in Revelation]” (Hosea 4:6).
The “vain” rituals of the people in Jeremiah are linked to the erection of the tree, which is clearly the model of the modern world’s “Christmas” tree:
“The customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest….They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not” (Jeremiah 10:3).
The apostasy of Israel was obviously linked to the practice of the sacrifice of the tree, as Ezekiel connected the sensory practice of the smelling of the seasonal green tree, to the ritual of Tammuz:
“…they commit the abominations which they commit here.…and, lo, they put the branch to their nose” (Ezekiel 8:17).
The New Testament tells us the Spiritual Sustenance described in Scripture, is associated with the senses – including a pleasant smell offered as a sacrifice.
“…an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God” (Philippians 4:18).
Thus, when the women were “weeping for Tammuz” (Ezekiel 8:14) in the temple, they were re-enacting the ritual of Tammuz (who was the Babylonian version of Baal), wherein the deity had suffered a premature death, but was being petitioned to return to the Earth – and it was plainly associated with the sacrifice of the tree, and the seasonal smell which accompanies the Spiritual fornication that is “Christmas.”
In previous work, this writer has detailed how each of the heathen deities, from which huge numbers of errant believers in Jesus Christ, receive Spiritual Sustenance every year, has dozens of “names of blasphemy” (Revelation 17:3).
The cycle of Baal and Tammuz is the same as that of the pageant of Apollo, who was also called Aries by the Greeks. The Romans enshrined him with a temple on “Mars’ Hill” (Acts 17:23), confirming the planet Mars was associated with this wicked presence. In previous studies, we’ve also repeatedly shown how the literal planet Mars once menaced the planet Earth in an ancient, unstable orbit – thus earning its reputation as the “god of war.”
Ironically, through the myriad of religious rituals which have been performed every year since Old Testament times, the entire world petitions “Mars” to return. Very few indeed have any idea of what they’re actually doing, but the Scriptures tell us the “restrainer” of that ancient destroyer will be removed, and “he” will return to menace the inhabitants of the entire world:
“I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit….and their arose a smoke out of the pit….And [the devils] had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon [the destroyer], but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon” (Revelation 9:1, 2, 11).
It matters not if this is a prophecy of a physical or Spiritual unleashing of the evil associated with the Greek name of Apollo, for the fact is, with the stiff-necked refusal of the “Christians” to repent of this resilient iniquity, we are destined to see a bitter harvest for the seemingly innocuous practice which is the Christmas celebration.
